COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM
The 600-Hour Cosmetology Instructor Program at Ebony Elevate Beauty School is designed for licensed cosmetologists who are ready to take their careers to the next level by becoming educators and mentors in the beauty industry.
This comprehensive program prepares future instructors to teach cosmetology with confidence, clarity, and professionalism. Through a combination of theory, classroom management, and supervised teaching, students will learn how to develop lesson plans, deliver engaging instruction, evaluate student progress, and maintain a positive learning environment.
Taught by experienced educators, this program equips aspiring instructors with the tools they need to shape the next generation of beauty professionals and thrive in both private schools and public education settings.
Upon completion, graduates will be eligible to take the State of Michigan Cosmetology Instructor Licensing Exam.

Instructor Certificate Program
This program is designed for licensed professionals who want to take the next step in their careers by becoming educators. As an instructor, your role will involve shaping the future of the beauty industry and mentoring emerging artists. You’ll be responsible for teaching theory, assessing student performance, and preparing them to successfully pass their state board exams, among other essential duties.

Professional License Required
To become a licensed instructor in the State of Michigan, graduates must successfully complete the Instructor Training Program, pass the Instructor State Licensure Exam, and apply for licensure through the State of Michigan.
